This website is a simple collection of a WIDE variety of samples from field notes created by researchers from across disciplines. It doesn’t include any analysis of why the researcher chose that format, so I can spend some time celebrating the ways I’ve seen different techniques succeed. I turn to this source frequently when assigning field work to creative and innovation teams, and when I feel like my own instincts have become too reliant on a narrow set of documentation methods.
